Hey, I'm Jeff

@Espresso_Jeff on Reddit

I bought my first 3D printer in 2022. It was supposed to be a bit of fun. It escalated. Now I've owned multiple printers, gone through kilos of filament, and spent way too many hours dialing in settings and researching upgrades.

Unlike most people, I spent weeks researching my first machine before buying it. I read every review, watched every YouTube video, and lurked in r/3Dprinting until I knew more than I probably needed to.

My friends started asking me what to buy. I got tired of repeating myself, so I started writing it down. That became this site.

What I Actually Do

I'm not sponsored. I don't get free printers. I just like doing research and helping people avoid the mistakes I made.

I spend hours reading expert reviews, watching comparison videos, and digging through Reddit threads to find what actually works. Then I write it up so you can skip the 40-hour rabbit hole and get straight to the answer.

I'm upfront about something: I haven't personally used every product on this site. What I have done is read hundreds of reviews and forum posts to find the consensus. When experts agree, I tell you. When they disagree, I tell you that too.

Other Rabbit Holes

3D printing wasn't my first obsession. I've applied the same research approach to espresso, vinyl, and home gym equipment. Same process: go deep, find the consensus, write it up.

The handle stuck though. You'll find me as Espresso_Jeff everywhere, even when I'm talking about layer adhesion or resin curing times.
